Standing at the Threshold

This year has been nothing short of a profound transformation, a dance of change and renewal. I find myself standing at the threshold of new commitments, ready to embrace what life has to offer with open arms. I’ve done the inner work, delved deep into my own being, and now I feel empowered to take the first steps—not just in relationships but also in pursuing my passions and dreams. Reflecting on my journey, I see growth by leaps and bounds, a maturation that’s been both challenging and rewarding.

I’ve come to realize that nurturing relationships requires dedication and effort. It’s easy to run away when things get tough, but I’ve learned the value of staying, of holding space for my own feelings rather than projecting them onto others. This growth has been transformative. As October unfolds, I’m ready to commit and recommit to several things that align with my true self.

Firstly, I aim to reduce my screen time. Spending over four hours a day scrolling through my phone disconnects me from my inner being. It’s an epidemic of our times, where we often surrender our humanity to technology. I am determined to cut that time in half, to reclaim moments of presence.

I’m also embracing Sober October, choosing to remove alcohol from my life entirely. This month, I’m recommitting to my health by reintroducing strength training with a remarkable trainer. Meditation and writing will continue to be my daily anchors, allowing me to explore and express my innermost self. And, of course, I will keep creating art that resonates with my soul.

October holds the promise of intriguing events and opportunities that could shape not only my future but also our collective journey. With the backdrop of natural disasters, geopolitical tensions, and societal upheavals, we find ourselves in a pivotal moment. The recent solar eclipse in Libra and the new moon invite us to reevaluate our agreements from the past two years. Do they nurture our growth, or do they hold us back? Will we commit to our current path, or will we sever ties and embark on new adventures?

As I ponder these questions, I realize that I’m still discovering my path. How can I commit or sever ties when my journey is still unfolding? Beyond personal commitments, I feel the urge to reassess my contributions to the greater community. Perhaps it’s time to establish a new online space where we can engage in meaningful conversations about these transformative times.

I want to invest my time and energy in my home and family, prioritizing my emotional well-being. Perhaps my path is guiding me back to my heart, to my ancestral roots. Big changes are on the horizon, a cycle of death and rebirth that promises abundance.

As we move through October and into the coming months, we enter a period of potent energies. It’s a time of strengthening, of finding inner resolve. Quiet reflection will be crucial for healing. We must pause, reflect, and allow ourselves to be honest. Transformation arises from this honesty, shifting how we receive and offer truth.

Physical healing and lifestyle changes will be transformative. We are called to flow rather than force, to trust in the natural unfolding of our lives. Global power dynamics are shifting, mirroring the transformations within us. Patience and presence will be our allies as we navigate these changes. It’s a time to be actively present, to embrace the waiting game with grace and curiosity.
